In the Pink and Blue

Rising Edge has been a proud sponsor of Dulwich Hamlet FC since 2022.

“Our business is built on good relationships and that is certainly what we have with Dulwich Hamlet.”

Philippe Gouraud, CEO Rising Edge

Three years ago when we visited Dulwich Hamlet for the first time, curious to see and hear what this football club in south London was about.

The more we learned about the club and what it stands for the more we realised we had so much in common. We had to get involved.

In the summer of 2022 we took on sponsoring the six DHFC banners at the Dog Kennel Hill end of Champion Hill and a year later our logo appeared for the first time on the back of the players’ shirts.

In the two years since we’ve deepened our connections with the club.

  • Men’s team striker and club EDI Officer Danny Mills came to us and facilitated a team discussion around privilege, equity and inclusion.

  • We’ve sponsored matches and introduced the club to many friends from the insurance market.

  • And we have had the pleasure of hosting two Rising Edge anniversary football match events at the club, read more about the 2024 Rising Edge Challenge Cup here.

For the new 24/25 season we have sponsored the back of the shirts and new for the 2024 season we’ve sponsored a new set of six DHFC banners at the ground.

We’re looking forward to the coming season - this feels like so much more than sponsorship.

Up the Hamlet!

Rising Edge backs the Hamlet again

For the second consecutive season Rising Edge is proud to announce that we are part of Dulwich Hamlet FC’s shirt sponsorship team. The distinctive ‘Hills’ patterned shirts will be worn by both mens’ and womens’ teams throughout the 2o24/25 season.

A short history of Dulwich Hamlet FC

Dulwich Hamlet FC is a football club with both men’s and women’s teams, based in East Dulwich, south east London. The club was founded in 1893.

‘The Hamlet’ is one of the most successful teams never to have played in the league with many victories in various amateur cups and trophies over the decades.

As with most ‘non-league’ clubs DHFC has over the years experienced ups and downs - cup wins, promotions, relegations and a few existential crisis’ - but the 24/25 season finds the club in rude health.

The club’s ownership is in good hands, split between fan shareholders and the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust. The new stadium is soon to start being built next to the existing stadium.

On the pitch both teams are thriving. The Men’s team plays in the Isthmian Premier League and the women’s team having won their league and promotion will now play in the National League Division One South East.

And the club is popular! Attendances for both teams are by far the highest in their respective leagues and the Pink and Blue of the Hamlet can be seen all over London.

“Rising Edge have been a perfect sponsor for the Hamlet. We share with them a culture which values Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity. Like Rising Edge, we believe in doing things differently, and doing the right thing.”
